The Tyrant Louis XVI
Hello my Brothers on this beautiful day. Today we have an insider scoop that even you can’t resist! We have live coverage on the execution of that despicable Tyrant; that buffoon we had to call King Louis XVI. Currently we are interviewing a key general of the French army who helped us with the Revolution. Let’s see what he has to say! Question: Hello Brother, may we bother and ask for your name?
Answer: Why, not a bother. My name is Napoleon Bonaparte, Second Liutenant of the La Fere artillery regiment.
Question: Ahh. I see. So Brother Napoleon, why do you think the Revolution happened?
Answer: Simple answer my good Brother. France had been under many years of oppression by greedy and corrupt rulers and nobles like the Tyrant Louis XVI. They were unfit to rule and were only on throne because they descended from the blood. The Old Regime government system we had before reflected the corruption as well. There was no social mobility possible in the social system; you were born to the First and Second Estate or otherwise condemned to the Third Estate. Why Brother, that is why we revolted; we had enough and it way due past the time for revolt. It would just seem that recent times would be the perfect time to mobilize the Third Estate. People were dying and starving, being taxed so heavily and being the only ones taxed, while the corrupt nobles took advantage of so and spent like money was candy. Something had to be done. And there was no better time than now!
Question: What fervor! I like you Brother. You embody everything we revolted to achieve! But Brother, you mentioned a little bit about the economics being the cause to the Revolution. Do you want to elaborate what you meant about the Third Estates' economic position?
Answer: Gladly Brother! The economics fairness of the Old Regime was absolutely corrupt; it was plain unfair to the good people of France and of the Third Estate. The Third Estate was any Frenchman who was not born into a royal family or nobility. Yes Brother; that meant anyone could go from the Third Estate to the other two if they could prove lineage, something that I highly disapproved of. But anyhow, the Third Estate consisted of the poorest of farmers and peasants to the richest of merchants and business owners. By God, some of those merchants and business owners were living better than some nobles and were more richer. Do you understand where I am getting at? Unfit, corrupt pigs who were poorer and not living as well was taxing those who were more fortunate and more wealthy. Yes, for those who did not know, only the Third Estate was taxed. All of those heavy burdens those tyrants and pigs made us pay was their source of income; all our taxes was all their money spent for they were never taxed themselves. The Second Estate that consisted of the lower nobles were not as luxurious as many thought; I would know since I had to serve them. The First Estate as well with all the high nobles and clergymen were sometimes less wealthy than those of the Third Estate business owners and merchants. Irony much? Nonetheless, it was due time that someone revolted against the corruption and with the facts presented.
Question: Amazing Brother! Very well said! There were somethings mentioned that even I did not know despite being of the media! Now Brother Napoleon, this is a serious question. What do you think, in your opinion, were the key events that kicked off the Revolution? There are many opinions and I want to see what you think.
Answer: Hahaha! I saw this question coming Brother and I will answer it all the same. There were five key events that occurred. The first and foremost by the convocation of the Estates-General in May 1789. That is what I feel started the whole mobilization of the Third Estate. To formalize the cause, however, the following event, the proclamation of the Tennis Court Oath of June 1789, was critical to the legitimacy of the Revolution. As the name implies, the Oath taken by the Third Estate members was done in a tennis court; this is how committed people were to the cause. The first major revolutionary event of violence, I must say for I was a leader in it myself, was the Storming of the damned Bastille in July 1789. That forsaken prison was symbollic of the power the corrupt had over us and it had to fall. Its fall kick started the French Revolution and all of its bloody glory! But as the revolt went on, the new government that was being established needed to create its legitmacy; thus passed was the Declaration of Rights of Man and of the Citizen in August 1789. If you look closely at the document Brother, you will see that the likeness to that to the Ten Commandments is very similar; that document was our Ten Commandments. Finally, and most important, must have been the March on Versailles in October. That corrupt pig, Tyrant Louis XVI, killed countless of us in some form to build that damned palace of his. So what did we the good people do Brother? We stormed it and got the unfit tyrant all the way back to Paris where we kept him trapped! Hahaha!
Question: Ahaha! Brother Bonaparte, you are sure a jolly good man. While we were having our talk, one of my colleagues created a picture representation of what your thoughts were of the major events. Let us take a view, shall we not?
Question: Amazing no Brother Napoleon?
Answer: Ahaha. That was a nice laugh my good Brother. Tell my other Brother he did a jolly good job on that presentation of pictures. And for him to compile that as we spoke; amazing. But now I must show you a survey poll I made. This is something important for it involves that tyrant Louis XVI and what his fate should be.
Question: OH! Let us Brother Bonaparte. This will show all our readers what all our other Brothers feel about the punishment that tyrant should get.

Answer: Ahaha. It would seem that our good Brothers will like to see that Tyrant lose his head under the fair lady Guillotine. Don't you agree?
Question: Haha! I would agree Brother Napoleon. So fitting should it be that the one executioner that the Tyrant used so freely should be his demise. OH WAIT. We have live coverage of the beheading! Shall we Brother?
